I am going to make my project on a softball field in Clinton. The story is about us winning our first tournament in 2012 as a team. I had the winning hit thats when I broke my first bat and had the best hit I have ever had. Clinton, down five to seven. Two people on base one ball two strikes. I’m up to bat. As I hit the ball I heard the bat crack. I hit a double; the two base runners scored tying the game. When I got back in the dugout I realized my bat was broke. It’s really rare when you break a composite bat. That’s why I painted this picture, because in Clinton that’s where I won my first tournament and broke my first bat.
I didn't really encounter many problem's with my piece the only problem I really had was I was hard to carve into cause it was so dry. And I carved the pictures to small so they where hard to paint with good detail.
My favorite part of making the project was painting the hieroglyphics the different colors. The plaster soaked up the silver pain and it made the tablet look sparkly, but it made the paint dry fast.
Although I didnt encounter many problems the tablet still doesn't look very authentic and Egyptian like. Theres no cracks scratches or brakes, and the paint made it look sparkly and new.
